The SSG Landers will host “Incheon Landing Day” during their three-game weekend series against the KIA Tigers from September 1-3 at SSG Landers Field in Incheon.
The Incheon Metropolitan City and SSG organized the event to honor veterans and remind the nation of the historic events that led to its salvation from the Korean War on September 15, ahead of the 73rd anniversary of the Incheon Landing.
First, the team will wear special ‘Incheon Landing Day’ uniforms during the three-game series. The special uniforms are designed with military patterns and green color to reflect the meaning of patriotism, with a patch on the left sleeve symbolizing the September 15 Incheon landing.
The special uniforms will be available for online purchase on SSG.com from August 25 at 9 a.m., and offline sales will be held on September 1 at 4:30 p.m. at the ‘Landers Shop by Emart’ located at Gate 7 of Incheon SSG Landers Field. It is priced at 119,000 won. 안전놀이터
SSG also announced that it will invite 1,200 soldiers to watch baseball during the three-game series to honor their service to the country, and will also host a ceremonial first pitch event for Korean War veterans.
