Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 3-0 victory over Jeonbuk Hyundai in the Coupang Play Series friendly at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on August 3.
Neymar’s two-goal, one-assist performance led PSG to victory. Lee came on as a 23rd minute substitute in the second half, giving him the chance to play in front of the Busan soccer fans. Still not 100% recovered from his injury, Lee didn’t push himself too hard.
Speaking to the broadcasters after the match, Lee said: “It was a great memory to come and play in Korea. The players also enjoyed their time in Korea. I hope there will be many opportunities to play in the future,” he said.
When asked about his physical condition, Lee said, “I’ve been gradually building up after my injury. There is no pain. However, the injury could happen again, 꽁머니지급 so I’m managing it and recovering.”
As for his adjustment to his new team, he said, “They are very good players and we got along well from day one. I think we’ll do even better in the future,” he said.
He also said, “Thank you for all the attention and support. Thank you for coming to the stadium today in the hot weather. I will continue to do my best in every moment and every game as I have always done, and as a Korean player, I will try to prove that Korean soccer has improved a lot and that there are many good players.”
